We are a small company with the mission to create novel orchid hybrids, remake desirable hybrids and propagate rare species, primarily of cool and intermediate growing parents in the pleurothallid, odontoglossum, dendrobium and bulbophyllum alliances. We do not mericlone. Our only product is seedlings in flask, ready to be planted out. We do not sell proliferating protocorms or other material that we would not want to plant out ourselves.

Our efforts in hybridizing have been rewarded with several A.D. and A.Q. and other quality awards from the AOS. We have also been introducing many newly discovered or otherwise rare species into hybridizing over the 30 years we have been in business. We have obtained many Certificates of Botanical Recognition (CBR/AOS) for species new to the judging system (and to hybridizing !).

The seedling flasks we use are the result of many years of experimentation leading to large (900 ml), lightweight and wide mouth unbreakable plastic flasks that ship very easily. The PET plastic they are made of has to be electron beam sterilized rather than autoclaved. These large flasks contain 36 seedlings, carefully selected for vigor. This product is aimed at small commercial growers and dedicated amateurs. We sometimes also make available smaller flasks (5 or 9 seedlings) of rare material. The deflasking of seedlings grown on sterile medium is challenging. We have developed a rather foolproof system (outlined on our deflasking page) that can open this dimension of orchid growing also for amateurs who seek a new challenge.

We ship domestically (FEDEX 2 day) as well as internationally, and can provide PHYTO documents as required at cost. CITES documents are not available for flasks. Domestic shipping and handling charges are $15 for up to 4 flasks and at cost for more. Billing will accompany shipping. FEDEX requires a street address and phone number.
